The Bathyal choker combines materials with different properties, requiring specific care to maintain the contrast between the steel chain and the silver-plated accents:

• Protect the Plating: The silver-plated weights are more sensitive than the stainless steel chain. To prevent premature oxidation or wear of the silver layer, keep the piece away from high humidity, sweat, and moisture.

• The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always put your necklace on after applying makeup and perfumes, and remove it before exercise or sleep to protect the delicate 0.4 mm links.

• Polishing Technique: Use a very soft jewelry cloth to gently buff the silver-plated weights. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemical "silver dips," as these can strip the plating away.
