Textile Alchemy
An experimental body of work examining chain construction as a medium for fashion form. These garments operate as formal studies of structure, weight, movement, and material behaviour, produced through an ongoing process of research and development rather than as resolved design outcomes.

Bonecarver Dress
August 2025. A study in emotional architecture, this work translates psychological defence mechanisms into wearable form. Black tulle and steel chains construct a body that appears armoured yet permeable, structured through tension, suspension, and layered fragility. The piece explores emotional avoidance, liminality, and guarded intimacy, forming an architecture of protection that does not fully seal itself off, but instead allows selective passage.

Dichotomy Dress
October 2025. This work explores the cognitive structures of an avoidant psyche, translating mental wiring and nervous system chaos into wearable form. Suspended chains and layered transparency construct a body shaped by overstimulation, contradiction, and internal conflict, where fear and attachment exist as entangled systems rather than opposites.
The piece functions as a diagram of psychological circuitry: a structure of crossings, pathways, and tensions that renders the avoidant mind as networked rather than sealed, chaotic rather than defended.
